About this session

Partners, contractors, suppliers and acquired organisations all need access to your systems. The hard part is making sure that access is governed properly from day one through to offboarding. This Kocho session looks at how to modernise external identity management using Microsoft Entra.

It covers simplifying external user access at scale with delegated approvals and automation, using access reviews and policy-driven governance, and securing partner access without making life harder for users. It also looks at supporting mergers and acquisitions and reducing risk with lifecycle-based access controls, including how to move away from VPNs.

There's also a customer story from Eversheds Sutherland (International), which replaced fragmented legacy processes with a single Microsoft-native model for external access across its global organisation.

It's from a Microsoft partner, so it's built around Entra, but the governance approach applies to any organisation with a lot of external users.
