FFront Row

How listings are chosen

Relevance over volume. Here is exactly what that means in practice.

What gets listed

Sessions that we think could be useful or relevant to a professional audience.

That includes educational webinars, practical workshops, industry briefings, product demonstrations, vendor sessions and other business technology events.

What we generally avoid is consumer technology and events with too little information to understand what is being offered.

We are not trying to list every webinar on the internet. The objective is that someone opening Front Row feels that somebody has filtered the noise for them, rather than that they have landed on a giant event database.

How results are ordered

By default, webinars are ordered soonest first. If you have told the site which sectors and topics you care about, relevant webinars may be moved higher up the page, but nothing is hidden from you, and browsing everything is always one click away.

Those preferences are stored on your own device and are never sent to us.

What sponsorship buys

Position, and nothing else.

A sponsored listing may appear higher in a set of relevant results or in a featured position on the homepage. It is labelled Sponsored wherever it appears.

What sponsorship does not buy:

  • Placement in searches or filters where the webinar is not relevant.
  • The ability to dominate a page. We limit the number of sponsored results shown alongside organic listings.
  • Removal of the Sponsored label.
  • Influence over whether a competitor is listed.
  • An endorsement from Front Row.

Sponsored webinars are still expected to meet the same basic listing standards as any other event.

Where our information comes from

Publicly available event pages, provider newsletters and direct submissions.

We record factual information about each event and write our own summaries. We do not reproduce organisers’ full descriptions.

One exception, and it is marked as one: a provider who has claimed their profile can give us their own description of the organisation, which we show on their provider page. That is about the organisation, never about a particular webinar — every listing is still summarised by us, the same way.

Event details are provided for information purposes. Registration takes place directly with the event organiser.

When an event has finished

The page stays.

It can still help someone answer “what was that session about?”, and where possible we will link to a recording, the provider’s upcoming events and similar sessions.

An event is not automatically removed simply because its original date has passed.
