GRC Solutions on passing Cyber Essentials first time under the 2026 rules
The new Cyber Essentials requirements are already in force, and anyone applying or renewing needs to know what they mean before starting an assessment. Cloud services, MFA, patching, scope and evidence now need closer attention, and getting them wrong can delay certification or put customer and supplier requirements at risk.
In this recorded session, GRC Solutions' Ashley Brett, Adam Seamons and Sophie Sayer explain what has changed, what assessors are looking for and the common mistakes that hold organisations up. It covers both Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus.
The aim is to help you work out how ready you are and what to fix first so you have the best chance of passing first time. GRC also has a Cyber Essentials FAQ page covering the most common questions about the new rules.
It's from a certification and consultancy provider, so the end of the page points to their Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and penetration testing services.
What the 2026 changes mean for cloud, MFA, patching, scope and evidence, and what assessors look for.
